Showtime......

In less than 24 hours from now, yours truly will be "knee deep" in festivities at the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. Unfortunately, the Propick Sports banner (which was ripped down last year), will not be staging a repeat performance. One can only hope for the same "passion" that has become a trademark for this annual day of mucho celebration.

In today's action, I like the Red Sox and Dice K over the Phillies. After riding the Sox last night I see absolutely no reason to abandon them now. Phillies starter Joe Blanton sports a 6.07 era and inspires little if any confidence. Conversely, the Red Sox have found their offensive fire power and should put up some big numbers today. Take the Red Sox -150 and take the runline (-1.5) this game will not be that close.
