Phillies -135 over Houston. Cliff Lee back on the mound after his only loss last week. The Astros have not faced Lee at all and I expect him to shut them down and continue his dominance over National League hitters. I also like the Rays over the Tigers. Verlander struggles away from Comerica park(where he is dominant) and the Rays, with their playoff hopes slim at best, are an even more aggressive team these days. Whether it involves using 5 pitchers in a game or pinch hitting more often, the Rays will approach this game with a greater sense of urgency.

20 years ago today, Iron Mike Tyson drove his silver BMW into a tree in Upstate, New York. The tree won.....luckily Mike survived and continued to provide the sports fan/gambler with 20 more years of top flgiht entertainment.
