Game Six.......
This game defies all logic. The line is Yankees -200 yet they have a 37 year old pitching on short rest. Meanwhile the Phillies are sending out Pedro Martinez, the same guy who the Mets deemed as "washed up", against a lineup that has hit its collective stride. What does this all mean? No clue. I am taking the Yankees laying the run line (-1.5 runs), thinking they will give their middle relievers enough of a lead that even they can't screw it up. Furthermore, even if Pedro pitches well, he will leave too many innings for the worst bullpen in World Series history. The play is the Yankees run line. I also was leaning towards the over in the game (9.5) but thats way too obvious and the official World Series Common Man play. If I was having more success in my NFL picks I would take the under just to spite the common man.
