Taking the Hook......

Today's plays adhere to a strict discipline that has enabled me to amass great success in my gaming endeavors. Take the hook! When we approach this point in the NFL season and there are several bad teams playing each other, you take the points. Anything more than a field goal is a green light. When you get 3 and a hook (3.5), it is your gaming obligation to take the points and do not ask questions. If you lose with this discipline so be it. You did the logical thing and in the long run you will be very,very wealthy for doing so. Now onto the picks. Panthers +3.5 over the Jets. Both quarterbacks are ticking time bombs so my reasoning is simple- this game should be decided by a field goal either way. Since I am getting the half point the only logical choice is the Panthers in this game. I have not seen a line for total turnovers by both teams but I will circle back if one exists. Next pick: Bills +3.5 over the Dolphins. Dolphins win this game but I cannot join the 80% who think they cover. This pains me since I believe the Dolphins are one of the most physical, under rated teams in this league. That being said, these division games in Buffalo tend to get a little "screwy". Missed extra points, safeties, etc. Take the points and expect a tight contest that comes down to the wire.
