Afternoon Delight.........

With a slew of Wednesday afternoon games I have no shortage of plays to choose from. Today Im taking the Florida Marlins -165 over the Washington Nationals. This pick seems way too easy and scares the living crap out of me. After running this game through the Propick enhanced model the Marlins come out a 5 star selection. For today, I am all aboard the common man train and expect a dominant effort out of Josh Johnson.
*Last weekend I predicted a precipitous fall for the Mets. So far, thats exactly what has happened. That being said, If you are in the mood to try and catch a falling knife, take the Mets +210 against a good but not great Milwaukee Brewers team.

This day in sports history 1990 the Yankees Andy hawkins no hit the White Sox and lost 4-0. I fondly remember having the Sox run line and watching 3 errors and a walk produce 4 unearned runs in the bottom of the 8th on that dog day afternoon.
