Friday......

Got a total of 3 games tonight. I am taking the Tigers -139 over the Cleveland Indians, The Orioles +105 over the Red Sox (hate touching this game but Smoltz has been awful and if my pick is the reason he turns things around, then so be it), and lastly the Cubs -120 over the Marlins. The Cubs have been playing well and pitcher Rich Harden has only given up 2 earned runs in his last 19 innings.
On a more somber note, Team AIG has been officially eliminated from post season contention in the Corporate softball league. The crushing blow to AIG fans everywhere came on Monday night when the team really laid an egg. Missed tags, base running blunders, a botched hit and run play, etc. True to form, the team handled it well led by de facto captain Marxy who rallied the troops for a late night loser's celebration. While the "off field" results mirrored those on the field, these guys showed heart. Who cares if a couple of B&T women thought the spray painted jerseys were "low brow". Go get em next year guys!
