Todays play is the Oakland A's -128 over the Angels. Fresh off their 3 game sweep over the Yankees last weekend, the Angels boast a superior team. However, the Angels are beat up. In addition to being without Vlad Guererro and Torre Hunter, they may also be without Juan Rivera in their line-up. Furthermore, their former ace Ervan Santana is an abysmal 1-5 with a 7.81 era. The A's are at home and send Dallas Braden to the mound. At 7-7, Braden is far from a shut down pitcher, however Braden pitches well against the better teams in the AL. Above all, a majority of the betting public loves the Angels in this one so I will gladly go the other way and endorse the A's.
