Monday.......

Back on the winning track after victories on Saturday and Sunday. Not much I like today but after seeing another heartless display by an injury plagued Mets team I will take the Nationals. Rule of thumb is- Stay away from games like this because both teams are so bad. That being said, I would just assume lose on a blown 5 run lead in the 9th inning with a few bases loaded walks, hit batters, multiple fielding errors, etc., then to have never gambled at all. This blog is dedicated to gamers, people who share a passion (and in some cases a problem), it would take an awful lot for me not to come up with something to bet.
Happy Birthday Ray Allen. For those of you who do not know this, Ray Allen is my favorite NBA player of all time. Is it because he is one of the most prolific shooters of this generation who conducts himself with class? No, its far more significant than that. In 2001, while Ray Allen's Bucks were in a 7 game playoff series against the 76ers, he came out and accused the NBA of being rigged. It was awesome! When he was blasted by the league office he toned it down a bit but never rescinded his comments. The official statement read as follows: " It behooves everybody for the league to make more money, and the league knows that Philadelphia is going to make more money with L.A. than we would with L.A". I think Ray Allen needs to re-iterate those comments during his Hall Of Fame induction speech, it would go down as the single most memorable speech in NBA history.
